The Industrial Era is Over

This idea is everywhere: The Industrial Era is not working for us anymore. We are in the midst of a major global shift, which will require shaking off certain beliefs and thinking anew.

Today’s schools are built on a factory model design:

  • Divide learning & students into parts (ages, subjects, 50-minute blocks, etc.)
  • Push for conformity in thinking and achievement
  • Tell the students exactly what to know and how to do things

We need to move away from this model. Watch this great video. You won’t regret it. 🙂
