Do you model life-long learning?

What do students think about learning? Is it over upon completion of college? Do students think their teachers should continue learning how to be better teachers even as they teach? Do students notice a change in the classroom that reflects the teachers’ learning?

Watch this 1 minute video of two adorable fourth grade boys in Freetown, Sierra Leone reflecting on their teachers as learners.

Interesting, right? These two young men kick off our Voices from Front Lines series. Each Wednesday we will post teachers or students reflecting on the implementation of our framework.

Here are three teachers reflecting on their learning during a three month intensive course with the first two stages of our framework.

We hope you enjoy!

  1. Teachers’ continuous learning is very important and healthy for the students’ education and the school environment, that’s what happened exactly in the school after an intensive course there was a huge step forward for the teachers that affected the students’ learning positively!
