Think about…making your learning visible

As educators we talk about student learning A LOT. But how often do we share what WE are learning with our colleagues and students?

Today, think about the power of making your own learning visible to those around you. Share your learning goals with a fellow teacher or administrator. Pass along quotations or interesting ideas from a recent article you’ve read. Carry books with you in the hallways or post a “what I’m reading now” sign outside your door . Start class by explaining how you’re trying to improve as a teacher. Or describe the evolution of your thinking on an important subject to another person.
