Today, think about the power of making your own learning visible to those around you. Share your learning goals with a fellow teacher or administrator. Pass along quotations or interesting ideas from a recent article you’ve read. Carry books with you in the hallways or post a “what I’m reading now” sign outside your door . Start class by explaining how you’re trying to improve as a teacher. Or describe the evolution of your thinking on an important subject to another person.
